INTRODUCING ROKKATEI
DISCOVER THE TASTE OF ROKKATEI!
We’re proud to share our one-of-a-kind confections and baked treats, cherished across Japan for their rich flavors and exceptional quality. From smooth, velvety chocolates made with locally sourced Hokkaido milk to oven-baked delights infused with the warm aroma of butter, every bite is a celebration of nature’s bounty. Our sweets also highlight the sweet-tart balance of ripe seasonal fruits and the wholesome richness of fresh produce.
Nestled in the heart of Tokachi, Hokkaido—Japan’s premier dairy region—our flagship factory is where it all begins. It’s here that tradition, culinary excellence, and the finest local ingredients come together to create our delectable sweets.
CRAFTING DELICIOUS SWEETS WITH THE FINEST INGREDIENTS.
Since 1933, our skilled culinary artisans have been crafting a wide variety of delectable sweets with carefully selected ingredients from Japan and around the world, blending both Japanese traditions and Western influences. Now, over 90 years since our founding, we operate more than 70 stores across Hokkaido, as well as cultural facilities like museums, gardens, and a private library. In the summer of 2025, we began sharing our sweets and culture with the US for the first time when we opened our first international location in California, USA.
After all these years, our dream and motto remain the same, to be a beloved store cherished by the local community – ROKKATEI IN BLOOM.
